Wheeling’s Summer Concert Season Extending into September

Wheeling’s Summer Concert Season Extending into September

WHEELING, W.Va. – Music lovers in Wheeling will have more opportunities to enjoy live performances this year as the City’s concert season extends into September. The additional dates are the result of several weather-related postponements during the summer months. The rescheduled concerts are as follows:

Toe Tappin’ Tuesday – Garden Park, Warwood

  • Sept. 2 – Twice As Nice
  • Sept. 9 – The Ron Retzer Trio

Waterfront Wednesday – Heritage Port

  • Sept. 3 – Hoard & Jones

“Our summer concert series is such a favorite for residents and visitors alike, and we didn’t want anyone to miss out because of the rain,” said Director of Parks & Recreation Rochelle Barry. “Extending the season gives us the chance to deliver all the great music we had planned.”

All shows, which are free and open to the public, begin at 7 p.m.

No smoking is permitted by order of the Wheeling-Ohio County Health Board. All programs are subject to change without notice. In case of inclement weather, events may be relocated, rescheduled or cancelled.
