Crittenton Services to Honor WV Women at Paint the Town Pink on June 18

Wheeling, W.V., April 20, 2022In honor of the amazing women who have made an impact in West Virginia, Crittenton Services will hold their signature event, Paint the Town Pink: Wild and Wonderful Women, starting at 6 p.m. on June 18, 2022, at the Wheeling Heritage Port.

This elegant fundraiser features a unique evening with spectacular views of the river, heavy hors d’oeuvres, local craft beer and wine, live music by Huntington-based band Cypress, a silent auction, and multiple raffle prizes.

The Heritage Port will be transformed with beautiful floral arrangements, enchanting lighting, and displays of women, both past and present, who have changed the lives of countless children, women, and families across the state. In partnership with Crittenton Services, the Ohio County Public Library generously researched West Virginia women who are and were influential in the Mountain State during their respective times and fields. These women will serve as inspirations for Crittenton’s residential clients, to know that they too can achieve great things despite their traumatic histories.

“As we honor West Virginia women across generations and professional sectors, it seemed fitting to highlight women and couple’s led businesses as well,” said Crittenton’s public communications coordinator Jasmin Ilovar. Delicious, gourmet appetizers will be provided by local favorites such as Sarah’s on Main, Table 304, Bite Me Bakery, Midges Kitchen, and Whisk Bakery and Catering. Guest will also enjoy craft beer and wine from across the state.

Tickets are available for $75 each, or $125 for a couple, and may be purchased online at www.crittentonwv.org/paintthetownpink or by calling Crittenton Services at 304.242.7060 ext. 134. All proceeds from Paint the Town Pink go towards providing residential and behavioral health services to children and families in West Virginia.
