BASS PRO SHOPS AND CABELAS TO BRING THE GREAT OUTDOORS TO BLAME MY ROOTS FEST AS PART OF INAUGURAL PARTNERSHIP

The great outdoors are headed to Belmont County. Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s, a national hunting, fishing, camping and outdoor recreation merchandise retailer with a mission to connect new audiences to nature and all its wonders, today announced a newfound partnership with Blame My Roots Festival. Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s recently united two national brands as one in an effort to create the “best of the best” shopping experience for all outdoor enthusiasts. Cabela’s, which has locally called The Highlands home for more than a decade, now offers the best in fishing via the addition of Bass Pro Shops stock to their already extensive line of hunting gear that customers have grown accustom to.

The partnership with the third-year festival presents an opportunity to tell a wide and very qualified audience about the merger, thus reinforcing that Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s very much are and will continue to be a fabric of this community. “We see a huge overlap in the type of person that would shop in our stores and your typical country music fan, which is why this partnership makes so much sense” said Dennis Ehrenberger, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Director of Distribution – Wheeling DC. “We’re excited to talk to and interact with the fans at Blame My Roots Fest and turn them into new or even bigger fans of our company.”

Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s will have a major presence at Valley View Farm during the festival. Concertgoers will enter the main concert area via the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Gate A and immediately thereafter be greeted by a display featuring the national retailer’s product, something that both entities think fans will be very excited to see. “When I think of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s, I think of two things: boats and off-road ATVs,” Brandi Waligura, Blame My Roots Fest Marketing Manager, said. “If we play our cards right, everyone in attendance at our festival will be able to get up close and personal with some really cool merchandise this summer, which is super exciting to think about.”

In addition to branding efforts to highlight the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s unification as well as showcasing the retailer’s product, Blame My Roots Fest is also an opportunity to discuss employment opportunities with the world’s foremost outfitter. “Our operation at the Highlands is huge, and we’re always looking to grow our team,” Ehrengerger continued. “We’ll have a 10’ x 10’ booth space at the festival where folks can learn about the opportunities we have available. If you’re passionate about the great outdoors and helping people reconnect with nature, come talk to us during the concert.”

Blame My Roots Festival is slated for July 14-16 at Valley View Farm in Belmont and will feature Dierks Bentley, Chase Rice, Ashley McBryde, Randy Houser, Niko Moon and more.

Tickets are on sale at Blamefest.com.
