The 24-year-old facility, home to the 2024 Frontier League West Division Champion Washington Wild Things, will now be called EQT Park. Financial and specific terms of the confidential agreement were not disclosed.
“EQT Park will be a community asset like no other,” said Stuart Williams, the Wild Things managing partner. “We are delighted to partner with such a community-minded organization. Their commitment to this area is evident in many ways, including their partnership with us.”

“The Washington Wild Things have brought vibrancy to the community, including the hundreds of EQT employees who have resided here for over two decades. The park is not only home to the team, but to countless other high school and college games and community events,” said Toby Z Rice, President & CEO of EQT Corporation. “By establishing EQT Park, we are reaffirming our commitment to the local communities we have been part of for over a century. We look forward to welcoming our friends, family, and neighbors to the park.”
ABOUT EQT PARK
The complex debuted in 2002 and was then owned by Baseball Scholarships Inc. (BSI), a nonprofit organization created to serve as a public entity, such as a stadium authority. The stadium was initially named Falconi Field to honor the late entrepreneur, Angelo Falconi. From 2007 to 2016, the complex was known as CONSOL Energy Park. From 2017 until today, the facility has been called Wild Things Park. The Wild Things open their 2025 campaign on the road when they face the Windy City Thunderbolts. The home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, when the Wild Things host the Ottawa Titans. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
