A Florida man, Michael Iaboni, 32, was arrested after allegedly making online threats against local churches, including Christ Fellowship in Palm Beach Gardens. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, an anonymous tip led investigators to Iaboni's social media activity, where he posted threatening videos after being fired from his job.

In a video posted on November 4, Iaboni expressed his anger over his job loss and mimicked gunfire sounds, stating, "I got fired and I’m fired up." He specifically mentioned targeting mega churches, including Christ Fellowship, saying, "I'm going after mega churches, Christ Fellowship is on my list to hit also." Just days later, he posted another message on Facebook, warning of a "Dead man’s switch" and claiming to have evidence against powerful politicians.

The threats came shortly before a large event at Christ Fellowship, which was expected to draw around 1,000 attendees. Authorities believe Iaboni was in possession of firearms, as he was previously confronted by Florida Fish and Wildlife police for discharging a firearm in public. He now faces a criminal charge of written threats to kill or do bodily harm.
