Tide Liquid Laundry Detergent Now Comes In A Box. Please Don't Drink It.

Tide and parent company Procter & Gamble announced last Friday that their laundry detergent will now be sold in a cardboard box. They're calling it the Tide Eco-Box, and it aims to "reduce the environmental impact of shipping laundry detergent in eCommerce," according to a spokesperson for P&G North America Fabric Care.

But the internet seems to be very worried about the new packaging, stating that it might remind people to try and eat and drink the laundry detergent. What a time to be alive...

According to CNN, the new box uses 60% less plastic and will be available on Amazon and Wal-Mart starting in January.

But don't forget that the Tide laundry detergent is NOT edible...

Remember the "Tide Pod Challenge"? That was the online joke about eating the small packs of detergent that went a little too far, and sent teens to the hospital.

Here's some bonus marginal legal advice from Bill Handel... Don't be an idiot! Don't eat, OR DRINK, Tide laundry detergent!
