Japanese Zoo Holds Animal Escape Drill With Worker Dressed As A Bear

A Japanese Zoo gave visitors a treat when it ran through its annual escaped animal drill on Sunday.

A zoo employee in a bear costume ran loose through the zoo while workers chased the imitation bruin and worked to protect visitors as if a real bear had escaped.

Video of the drill shows staff using barricades to corner the bear and then simulating using tranquilizer darts to subdue the animal and return it to its enclosure.

The bear costume was more cartoonish than real, which made spectators chuckle.
