Restaurant Makes Waves For Restricting People Under 35

Bliss Caribbean Restaurant in Florissant, Missouri wants to be an upscale and relaxing place for older patrons.

They made it happen by banning any man under 35 and women under 30.

Owner Marvin Pate just makes the cutoff at 36.

Pate explains why the rule was made. "The restaurant is just something for the older people to come do, have a happy hour, come get some good food and not have to worry about some of the young folks who bring some of that drama.”

IDs of those who look to be under the age requirement will be checked.

Pate says the rule will stay in place despite a flood of negative reviews over the restriction.
